Young Labour

Young Labour is the name for the youth wings of the British Labour Party and New Zealand Labour Party, and is also used to refer to the youth sections of Labour parties in general. In Australia the term is spelt Young Labor

The British Young Labour is a membership organisation open to all members of the British Labour Party between the ages of 15 and 26.

It has a national executive drawn from those elected to various regional policy forums from and a number of regional organisations. Young Labour functions mostly as a campaigning group enabling younger party members to a route into political activity within the party.

It also functions as a networking organisation for young members, often those employed by Labour MPs or other organisations within the party to gain contacts.
