You and Yours

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You and Yours is a British radio consumer affairs programme, broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

It is transmitted every weekday at 12.04pm after the midday news. Winifred Robinson, John Waite, Peter White, Liz Barclay, Carolyn Atkinson and Sheila McClennon are among its regular presenters. Former Presenters include Ken Sykora and Diana Madill.

The series has been the subject of jokes[1], especially from the Radio 4 comedy programme I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue:

We kick off this week with a game called Worst Things To Hear, and it's all about those little phrases you might inadvertently overhear, and immediately wish you hadn't. One that instantly springs to mind is: "...and now an extended edition of You and Yours"...

...we've received this letter, and it comes from a Mrs. Trellis of North Wales. She writes: Dear You and Yours, I see you now have a 'listen again' facility. Why? Yours sincerely, Mrs. Trellis
