"You and Me" is a song released by Lifehouse. Produced in 2002 and released in January 2005, it has had a major impact as it remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 62 weeks. It peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Drummer Rick Woolstenhulme calls the track "the wedding song of the year." The song is also featured in the MTV reality show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, season two.
[edit] Smallville
Like many of Lifehouse's other songs (such as "Everything", which appeared in the show's Pilot), "You and Me" was featured prominently on the television series Smallville. Lifehouse performed an extended version of the single (now known as the "Wedding Version") live during the senior prom episode "Spirit".
