[edit] Wikipedia is not a directory

This article reads like a dump of the artist's complete list of works. Does anyone who is knowledgeable about art feel able to reduce this to a compact article that is more encyclopedic? It currently reads like something that is cut-and-pasted from his resume. We don't need to know about every one of his shows, but if there are articles that others have written about him, we would like to get a more complete picture of his significance. The list of shows is probably available on an external website that we could link to, and thus does not have to be included here. EdJohnston 23:45, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

On a whim, I put a note on the talk page for the sculpture article in hopes someone there may pick it up. I've tried contacting the Portal:Visual_arts before, but that does not seem very active. Keesiewonder 00:48, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
