Technically, Sparky the Dragon might be considered a league-switching mascot as he currently represents both the New York Islanders and New York Dragons.

[edit] Where does this line about the "dry cleaning" come from?

There's no citation for it in any articles. Yes, Youppi may have been dirty/worn, but inside a Wikipedia article isn't a place to joke about it. -- Rcharman, 10 October 2005, 1:24 pm

[edit] Mascot Hall of Fame

The article says that a lot of people believe that Youppi! was inducted into the Hall of Fame. First of all, 3 mascots (the San Diego Chicken, the Phillie Phanatic, and the Phoenix Suns Gorilla, Go) were inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame in its inaugural class in 2005. They are officially members of the Mascot Hall of Fame. Youppi!, however, was not inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame. The costumes for Youppi!, the Phillie Phanatic, and the San Diego Chicken are on display in the Baseball Hall of Fame, but they are not members. Carter Somerville 18:19, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Jim Henson connection?

Didn't Jim Henson have something to do with the creation of Youppi? I think I read about this in the news once...

[edit] Picture

Can anyone put a picture of Youppi up that isn't copyrighted, maybe from their own personal collection? Ikki the Fox Breeder 06:27, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
