Since you've alreayd entered an arcticle on someone close to you, let me also suggest to

• Study in particular the guidelines on
  • Notability
  • Autobiography,
  • Conflict of interest. This doesn't mean that you ecesarily have a bias, but keep in mind that whatever happens to 'your' page in wikipedia may cause you stress.
• Study and maybe edit other articles, e.g on sculptors
