Yoshiko Kuga

Yoshiko Kuga (久我 美子 January 21, 1931 - ) is a Japanese actress.

In Tokyo, she was born as Haruko Koga (久我美子). Her father, Michiaki Koga (久我通顕), was a marquis and a member of House of Peers.

In 1946, when she was in her third year in Gakushuin Girls' Junior High School, she became an actress under exclusive contract with Toho. In 1947, she made her debut as one of the lead actresses in an omnibus movie "Yottsu no Koi no Monogatari" (四つの恋の物語; "Four Love Stories").

In 1961, she married an actor, Akihiko Hirata (ja:平田昭彦). They were known for a very harmonious couple until Hirata died in 1984.
