[edit] Quartet X

Yoonbhum: I am putting the original version of your article on Quartet X here, because it does not adhere to Wikipedia guidelines Wikipedia:NPOV and WP:AUTO (please have a look at these pages). I am sure that your group is very talented, and I'm glad to hear that there is an innovative string quartet in South Korea, but Wikipedia is not the place to promote your group. Quartet X (South Korea)has created a new paradigm for string quartets by performing traditional classics music and popular music as well. The press never forget to use the terms 'outrageous', 'fantastic', and 'mutant' when they speak of this team. Their debut with the X mark-standing for a double sharp-at the head, was incomparable. With intense stage motions, delicate and new ways of planning , and performance of challenging repertoires, they were so-called "the most outrageous string quartet of the era" and caused a sensation. After the team was made up, they thoroughly trained for 3 years without any concerts. However, from the first, the concerts they have released were recorded as provocative events one by one. The tradition was taken to pieces and recombined, which pioneered a new style that was never seen before. So to speak, they personally planned all their performances like a musical. They have shown a step ahead in performing style, stage directions, marketing, internet marketing, and other aspects.

The first concert "Sturm und Drang drove the audience stunned for 2hours and 20 minutes with their enthusiastic performance. Fearlessly choosing the first piece to be "Death and the Maiden, the masterpiece and then memorizing Beethoven's "Grand Fugue, which is known for its abstruseness and violence, and showing self confidence clearly made a big difference in the classical concert's world. Also there is the remarkable "B9" which is made of the movements of Beethoven's quartets where each movement was separated and deliberately put back together. The pieces were named by the performers. "Popcorn", "horse race", "cat" and many more titles that show the unrestricted ideas and modern senses of the performers. 'THE STATION" concert, was held in an open space for citizens. It showed their will to share legitimate classic concerts with the public. They are usually performed only in music halls. The music they performed in public like subway stations were not in the least simple. They were masterpieces with deep musical contents like Grieg's string quartet, "American", and "Death and the Maiden. Furthermore they also performed contemporary music and experimental repertoires which refreshed the meaning of open space concerts.

Yoonbhum Cho, the first violin player, is already well-known as a "Monster of the Music World in the classical music world, whose gifts are coming out in various fields. Besides being the leader and arranger of the Quartet X, he also does web design, publishing, and writes a regular column Yoonbhum Cho? power classic" in Hankukilbo (Daily Newspaper). He has so many talents and history that is hard to believe. These various abilities played a major role in planning all the Quartet X concerts. Kyungyun Kim, the very sensitive second violinist , was trained through various activities and already knew what was important for the quartet and what the quartet needed. She is the key player in makin g ample volume and a well-balanced ensemble. Chikuk Kim, the violist understands the string quartet very well like no one else. He has trained himself through chamber music and the Korean Symphony and other ensemble and orchestration activities. His talent with strengthened experiences and know-hows, allows him to perform beautifully as the excellent violist of Quartet X. Saelan Oh, the sentient cellist, reads ahead the high pitched instruments in harmony, adds up with the hard training and natural senses and lets the audience experience a prickling consentience. All four of their performing ability and passion will make the public come closer to the world of string quartet.
