[edit] Teaching

Yogani’s teaching is an integrated, non-sectarian system of advanced yoga practices using an open source format previously unheard of in similar traditions. The self-pacing technique at the center of the system encourages the practitioner to move at their own pace through a series of powerful spiritual practices, using their inner guru as a guide while cultivating inner silence and raising ecstatic kundalini in a safe and manageable way. The online teachings have always been free.[1]

[edit] Biography

From what little can be gathered of the life of Yogani, he grew up Christian in the 1950s and 1960s. Inspired by quotes like "Be still, and know that I am God" from the Old Testament and "Seek and ye shall find", Yogani began his search for answers, leading to his discovery of Yoga. Beginning with a meditation practice and moving forward in the unorthodox style of integrating advanced practices from many different traditions, his beliefs were quickly confirmed that "We are a door to something greater that is within us". Over thirty years later and retired, he decided to write it all down so there would be a record of his research left behind for other seekers of truth.[1]

Yogani's main body of work has been documented on the Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP) website. All of Yogani's writings are signed with the phrase "The guru is in you".[1]
