Yoan Pablo Hernández

Yoan Pablo Hernández Suárez (born 28 October 1984) is a Cuban professional boxer.

Yoan Pablo Hernández started boxing with the Cuban national team at a very young age. He participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native Caribbean country. There he was stopped in the second round of the Light heavyweight (81 kg) division by Russia's Evgeny Makarenko, a double world champion in the event. One year earlier Hernández had won the silver medal in the same division, at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo wher e he lost to Ramiro Reducindo.

Although he was considered one of the top prospects of Cuban boxing, he decided to escape at an early age, having little history of boxing in Cuba. He is now based in Halle, Germany.

Yoan Pablo Hernández is a very fast southpaw boxer at Cruiserweight. He is based in Germany. So far, he has 9 victories with no defeats, and is considered by some experts[attribution needed] as a future heavyweight world champion.
