Yo! Bum Rush the Show is a 1987 album by Public Enemy. This was the first album of Public Enemy's that had been released by a record label. The album is considered a classic of its time but is generally considered inferior to Public Enemy's follow up album, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back. In 1988, the album was selected as one of The Source Magazine's 100 Best Rap Albums. In 2003, the album was ranked number 497 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
