The Yezin University of Agriculture (), in the village of Yezin, a few miles north and east of Pyinmana, is an older institution which offered degree in agriculture in Myanmar. From its former name of Agricultural College and Research Institute of Mandalay began in 1924, it moved its campus to Yezin in 1973 to exploit more practical experience. Under the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Myanmar, it gained full university status in 1998.
The University offered Master degree from 1978 and a PhD course in 2001. It is also one of the universities in Myanmar that affiliate in government.
