Founded in 1993 as a branch of the Yew Chung Education Foundation based in Hong Kong.
There are three campuses:
- Hongqiao Campus, 1993, Pre-K to Year 2
- Gubei Campus, 1995, Year 3 to Year 13, provides boarding facilities
- Pudong Campus, 1999, Pre-K to Year 6
Academics are based on the National Curriculum of England, the General Certificate of Secondary Education, and the IB Diploma Programme. The school only accepts foreign passport holders or residents of Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan.
