How can you merge a school in Shanghai with a school in Hong Kong? (Despite the fact they are running by the same organization.) You can't just merge schools with the name "St. Paul" in it, so the two Yew Chung school can't be merged. How to remove the tag? (of course I know the tag can be removed by editting, but how to remove it "legally"?) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Superarthur (talk • contribs).

  • As it is under the same organisation, it can be merge into a main article called "Yew Chung Education Foundation" or simply "Yew Chung International Schools". Each school can be placed into sub headings. I dont see a problem there.
  • You might also want to have a look at a featured article Caulfield Grammar School, each campus do not form an individual article but under a main article, this might give you some thoughts.
  • The articles should be merge in theory as they did not expend enough and consider to be stubs. However, the reason the tag is still here is because nobody have the time to do the merger.
  • It is impossible to merge schools with "St. Paul" as each "St. Paul" are run by different managing board and have no linkage between each "St. Paul" schools around the world. Yew Chung is run by a centralised management, where the directors are universal and superintendents are distributed in each areas. GSPbeetle complains Vandalisms 16:42, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Can you show me other schools with different students, different teachers, different principals, different location, different alumni, different courses and different extra-curricular activities that merged together? Arthur 15:29, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I am not trying to make here to be a battle ground, however I am sorry i cannot fully understand your points. Featured articles should be in theory to be the best articles and models.
  • Also why do you want to list students, teachers and extra-curricular activities? It will rather look like a manual.
  • Please also note that the official alumni of yew chung is not campus specific.
  • Anyway, to clear the clouds, the merge can be something like that: Every campus can have its own "space" for their content. If they got too big, it can be spilt afterwards.
    • I had made a sample here, hopefully you can understand it better.
