[edit] Plot summary
Father Nightroad and Sister Esther arrive together in Rome, where Esther meets Caterina Sforza as well as many of the other members of AX, including: Professor Wordsworth, Father Havel, and Sister Noelle Bor. Esther is recruited into AX. Meanwhile, during a conversation between Abel and Caterina, it is revealed how they first met: Several years prior, Caterina was pursued by vampires into a church, where Abel was mourning an unidentified character (Who is actually Lilith). Abel dispatches the vampires and is inferred to have joined the Vatican, where Caterina soon forms AX. Also, Esther meets Pope Alessandro when she gets lost somewhere in the Vatican.
