Yermo, California

Yermo is a town in San Bernardino County, California. It is located 10 miles East of Barstow on Interstate 15, just south of the Calico Mountains. The town has a population of 4,200.
The town has a California agriculture inspection station for traffic heading south on Interstate 15. The agriculture inspection station will be moved to the Nevada state line at Primm in 2009.
Yermo is also the site of the 1859 acre (7.5 km²)storage and industrial annex for the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow.
