Yellow #5 is a California-based rock band with a strong New Orleans vibe. The band features vocalist/bassist Molly McGuire and guitarist David Catching. The debut album, Demon Crossing, also features Brant Bjork on drums; their drummer for live shows is Jose Medeles (The Breeders).
Yellow No. 5 is also a Ohio based 3-piece indie rock band hailing from the Columbus/Cleveland rock scene.
Yellow No. 5 is also a Pennsylvania-based rock band founded by Jason Cooper and Mike Litzinger in 1993. The band eventually split up in 1999. During their prime, the band drew significant local crowds to their live performances, and released two studio albums. In 1996, Litzinger filed for (and currently still holds) the trademark to the name "Yellow No. 5" for use in commerce, rendering the claim of other bands to the name dubious at best.
