The Yellow Belt is the third "belt" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Pittsburgh/Allegheny County Belt System and the first of the belts to make a complete circumference of the city, over a distance of 80 miles. For several miles in the southern part of the county, it is the outermost of the belts. (The Orange Belt has a gap where it used to enter into Washington County, Pennsylvania and the Red Belt runs exclusively in the north of the city.) The belt was originally set up in the 1940s though the current route was finalized in 1972.
The Yellow Belt stretches from its southernmost point in South Park, Pennsylvania, north and west to the border of Moon, Pennsylvania, north and east to Hampton, Pennsylvania, and east as far as the border to Plum, Pennsylvania before returning to the start. It crosses or follows Pennsylvania routes PA 50, PA 51, PA 60, PA 65, PA 88, PA 121, PA 130, PA 148, PA 380, PA 791, and PA 910. It also crosses or follows US 19 and US 22. It crosses the Neville Island Bridge and the Mansfield Bridge.
