[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Nailaboss.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Nailaboss.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Use of {{stub}} is no longer recommended

Hello,

Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.

Thanks! -- Where 02:39, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gurning

I don't get it. Why do none of the pictures added to gurn ever match the description - the bottom lip covering the top? Stevage 17:36, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Poisonous Poets

Hi there.

The article on Poisonous Poets was speedily deleted because there was no notability asserted. I see you've brought up some arguments for keeping the band on the articles about its members that I nominated.

If you can cite sources for your claims, I suggest you bring Poisonous Poets to deletion review. If it is undeleted, that will greatly improve the case for keeping the rappers' articles, and then we can take a look at those. I'm here if you need help. Thanks. Grandmasterka 20:22, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] HI

I told you where. I don't have MSN where I am, only Webmessenger. I will be here for another few weeks, and if I continue to enjoy it, I may just move on to even bigger things. x. HawkerTyphoon 02:02, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Userboxes

I reformatted the userboxes on your userpage to a more manageable table format and removed some deleted userboxes. Hope it helps. — Nathan (talk) / 05:56, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fiddle yard

I am:

  1. An Officer Cadet. Call me Sir, but don't salute. I won't slaute you unless you have a hat on, or you don't salute me.
  2. Back in Redditch shortly. I went to Kent on my holidays. I don't have MSN in my Dartmouth house. I can interweb though.
  3. Kent is full of cunts. Pass this on.

How are you? I miss you. xxx

[edit] Image:Sessiondrummer.jpg

You licensed this nice image as Template:GFDL-self. You took the photo yourself, or that is you in the photo? If you could mention that in the image summary, that would help to avoid any image copyright police questioning it. (I'm not one of them, but I try to head them off in small, legit ways.) [edit] Unique image

Hi, Yeanold Viskersenn. Do you believe that a picture of rapper 10Shott like this is something unrepeatable? If som please share your thought on the image's talk page. Thanks, --Abu Badali 19:23, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to User talk:Trauma16, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Martinp23 19:09, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi - please accept my most sincere apology - the warning was posted by WP:VP2, a tool I use to rapidly find an revert vandalism, by mistake - it has happened before and seems to be a program bug, but rest assured that I have reported it. If you look at the edit summary for the warning, you will see that it cites VP2 - I have no idea why this happened, but the software is still in beta testing stages, so I thank you for reporting this error, on behalf of the program's creator. I have striken the warning above out, to indicate that it was a mistake and prevent others from presuming that you are a vandal. Thanks, Martinp23 19:16, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Gta4announced.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Gta4announced.JPG. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Canadian Eclat 15:45, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Gta4announced.JPG

You need indicates where the image comes from. Steal video from Internet and capture as screenshot is not valid as source. Revert with your argument to provide invalid source is considered vandalism and I ask you to stop and leave the template until the real source is provided. Thanks. --Canadian Eclat 11:41, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your Tuba hoax vandalism

Your attention please! Editors' consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tuba (mythology) indicates that Tuba (mythology) is an elaborate hoax on your part. It has been deleted accordingly.

Creating hoax articles is vandalism, i.e. a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. Consider yourself warned that you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia without further notice in the case of any further vandalism. Sandstein 09:53, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Dizzee.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Dizzee.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. - crz crztalk 21:35, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Student

Of course the term "sophomore" is known of by some people in the U.K., but it's never used (which is the burden of the claim that it's unknown). Saying "comparatively unknown" is vague; it could be taken to mean that it's sometimes used to refer to students, but not usually — and that's definitely not the case. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 11:06, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Beit Nun

Hi, I have listed Beit Nun as an article for deletion here. As the creator of the article, I would welcome your input into the discussion. My understanding is that Beit Nun is not a notable musician, and has not release any major works or undertaken any major tours. MLA 09:50, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Addition of speculative edits to GTA IV

Please do not add unhelpful and non-constructive information to Wikipedia. Your edits could be considered vandalism, and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions ♣ 01:00, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

I apologize; if you couldn't tell by the paragraphs of malicious comments hurdled at me, I have been dealing with a couple of harassing pests and I have had a high level of "wikistress" going on, so I have been a bit on edge and it has also been effecting my ability to be a decent Wikipedian, at the moment. One of the other reasons why I removed it is because it has been removed once (if not, multiple) times with neither editors posting an edit summary, causing me to question the credibility of, at least, one editor's edits; what I say is the truth, and whether you accept this apology is up to you (I say this in a non-malicious manner). I can't do too much about it if you don't. ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions ♣ 01:20, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
