Yatishwarananda

Swami Yatishwarananda (1889-1966) was a vice-president of Shri Ramakrishna Math. He was a disciple of Swami Brahmananda. He served in Philadelphia propagating the message of Vedanta. He was the president of Bangalore centre of Ramakrishna Math. He founded an ashrama in Switzerland. He was widely respected for his high spiritual attainments, yogic insights and mature wisdom. He endeared himself to many in India and also abroad by his selfless love and gracious manners. One can have a glimpse of his spiritual stature from the book entitled Meditation and Spiritual life, which is a compilation of his class talks.
