This artice, despite being rather amusing, adds nothing to Wilkpedia's academic credibility.

Shouldn't this be at Wikinews?

  • Doesn't it qualify as a short biographical profile? --68.239.153.119 15:04, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

I erased the news telling of him having a copy of the "Corano". I couldn't find this news on any news' site, and the sources were not cited.

[edit] An incredible risk

Regarding Sir Ian Blair's exclamation: what exactly was the 'incredible risk' of using a stungun? ie, was it dangerous for the police or the suspect in his view?

ok, found my answer here [1]. article ammended appropriately. --81.154.236.221 23:36, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] So what happened to him after being arrested a year ago?

Sandpiper 08:42, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

I've updated the article to include what I can find, mainly that he pleaded no guilty and that his fiancée was arrested to. In this article on the BBC News site, it says he was due to stand trial sometime w/c 9th October, but I can find nothing at all on him after that. If anybody can find something I'm missing (it is quarter past 4 here at the moment) that would be great. It doesn't help that the BBC decided at some arbitrary point to start spelling his name 'Yassin' and leaving out the 'Hassan'. Lawful Hippo 04:18, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Uncited sources?

Would somebody like to tell me exactly what those are because I've been fairly meticulous in making sure everything is cited back to a reliable news source. I'd also challenge the expand and wikify tags to a degree, because I honestly don't believe there is much scope to expand this article - its not like this is ever likely to be the kind of biography to Julius Caesar, we just don't have the information. And I can't see a lot wrong with its quality, and I charge that boxes like the wikify one are terribly unhelpful without some explanation on the talk page about WHAT is wrong with the article. I'm quite willing to hear someone out if they believe the boxes should stay. Lawful Hippo 16:21, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Right, given nobody's defending there addition, I'm removing both the Expand and the Unreferenced tags. If sombody's going to add them back in, please give some kind of detail on this page. Lawful Hippo 09:29, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
