[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Death-simpsons.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Death-simpsons.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Copyright status for Image:Garygait.jpg
Hi, you tagged this image as {{No rights reserved}}, but I can find no indication that the copyright holder have released this image under any sort of free license, let alone released all rights to it. Please note that full copyright protection is always the default unless the copyright holder have explicitly stated otherwise or the copyright have lapsed due to age (clearly not the case here). Therefore I have tagged it as having "no license", meaning it will soon be deleted unless you can provide additional information to prove that all rights rely have been released for this image. --Sherool (talk) 22:15, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Professional Lacrosse template
I like the template you made, but I was curious why college leagues (USL MDIA, MCLA, NECLL) are included? They are definitely not professional leagues. Maybe a re-name of the template to "Lacrosse League" or "North American Lacrosse Leagues"? Stoneice02 02:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- I just noticed that the actual title bar in the template reads "Lacrosse Leagues" so I guess you've already taken care of that. Stoneice02 02:24, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I realized after I had created it that I named it wrong. I will move it later, I just don't have the energy to do it right now. --Yarnalgo 03:00, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] List of U.S. state colors
Hi! I just saw your edit there, do you have any source for Utah's State Color? Couldn't find it on the Utah.gov website. Regards, --Hedwig in Washington (TALK) 23:38, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- No sorry, I did not add that. I was reverting an IP vandalism edit from a while ago that no one picked up (diff). --Yarnalgo 03:07, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, now as you mention it... 8) I better go and get my glasses fixed..... #-) --Hedwig in Washington (TALK) 04:28, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Duke lacrosse accused.jpg on Commons
I highly doubt that the user who uploaded Image:Duke lacrosse accused.jpg to Flickr is the actual photographer who took the image, and I don't think that you should have uploaded it to Commons. Also, please don't review images you've uploaded from Flickr. That defeats the whole point of the {{flickr}} template. ~MDD4696 03:24, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Please read my response on the image talk page. It could be the Flickr user's original work, there's no way to tell. Also, as long as you are an admin or trusted user (which I am) it is fine to self-review your images (see commons:Commons talk:Flickr images#Self-review). The purpose of the flickr review is so that images uploaded by non-trusted users can be reviewed. --Yarnalgo talk to me 14:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

I have started this as a central place to discuss issues with Flickr images. Please take a look. Bryan 09:30, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
