Yannick Djaló

Yannick Djaló, or simply as Yannick, is a Portuguese international football (soccer) Striker who was born in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau despite living most his life in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.

At Sporting, Yannick played mostly in the Sporting academia Puma in Lisbon where he and other talents such as Miguel Veloso graduated from as the likes of Luís Figo did.

He currently plays for Sporting's senior squad. He has proved to be a quality player and has many times taken part in both league and champions league matches. His great exhibitons have provoked interesting for some of the best teams in the world, such as F.C. Barcelona and Manchester United F.C.. He has recently agreeded to renew his contract with sporting until the year 2013.
