Scott Wilkinson (stage name Yan) is the lead singer and main songwriter for English rock band British Sea Power.
He plays guitar in the band, as well as bass on most of his brother Hamilton's songs. He also plays drums on "No Red Indian".
Yan, who also paints, designs some of the band's artwork along with bandmate Wood, including the album cover for The Decline of British Sea Power and its singles, which were based on old book covers. "When I Go Out" (a b-side on the "It Ended on an Oily Stage" single) was written, recorded and produced solely by Yan. This and a number of other unreleased tracks made in the same way make up the Evangeline sessions.
