[edit] Pick one I guess
You know, you're the first Christian who has stated that I should use my free will even if its against your belief. I thank you for that, everyone i've spoken with has tried to convert me. Again, I thank you for that. -—The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Killjoy Zero (talk • contribs).

[edit] Template linklist problem?
I have noticed that something about my userpage is incorrectly causing it to show up as if it is linked to most, if not all, of the maintenance templates. To understand what I am talking about, try the following:
- Go to my userpage (user:Riick). Do I have the expert template there? No.
- Now go to the list of articles linked to the expert template: [2]. Am I listed there? Yes! (I'm towards the end.) Yet you just verified in the previous step that my page clearly has no link to the expert template.
- While you are there, notice what other pages are listed. Most are pages that do belong there; they are linked to the expert template. But some are more userpages that have no such link. From this we can conclude that the strangeness is not limited to just my user page.
This seems to me to be bizarre and unexpected behavior. And it manifests itself in many of the other maintenence template linklists too; I just used the expert template as an example.
So here's my question: How should I go about determining whether this is in fact "flawed" behavior? If it is indeed undesired, what do I need to do as a responsible wikipedian to get it on its way to being corrected, not just for me, but for everyone who has this problem?
(As a final thought, I have done some troubleshooting and have found that this strange effect goes away when I remove the userpage template, but it also goes away when I keep the userpage template and remove everything else! Maybe it is something about the combination?) Riick 08:02, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I figured out it's not a problem; no need to respond. The explanation is as follows: 1) A page doesn't have to link by transclusion in order to be on the list. 2) There is a link to the expert template (and to many other templates) in the template messages template. 3) As one might expect, the page actually does not disappear from the list except when the "template messages" template is removed. [edit] 500 edits
Not at all. You'd be doing a service to point out names that shouldn't be there. However, I've always left Graham Chapman on there because (a)he'd been on there virtually since the page was started (long before I got here), and (b)his account was so old that I wasn't sure the counters were getting all his edits- I know Wikipedia used different software back then.--Cúchullain t/c 15:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Gladstone Secondary School
It appears that Wayson Choy really did attend this school. Is it okay with you if I add him back to the article under "Notable Alumni"? janejellyroll 04:03, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
