This article is about the town in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. There are towns in two other prefectures with the same name, see Yamakawa, Tokushima and Yamagawa, Kagoshima.
Yamakawa (山川町; -machi) is a town located in Yamato District, Fukuoka, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 5,522 and a density of 209.33 persons per km². The total area is 26.38 km².
