Yamagumo class destroyer

The Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force classify the Yamagumo class as destroyer, but due to their relatively light displacement, other sources also classify the class as frigate. This class is the successor of Akizuki class destroyer and the predecessor of Minegumo class destroyer.
After QH-50D DASH is discarded, this class succeed Minegumo class destroyer. Sometime called Aokumo class.
- Displacement: 2100t standard; 2700t full load

- 4 76/50 main guns
- 1 ASROC ASW system
- 1 375 mm ASW rocket launcher
- 2 Triple Mk 32 ASW torpedo tubes
