[edit] Your vandalism
User talk:71.32.156.67 From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Jump to: navigation, search
This message is regarding the article History of Vermont. Your change was determined to be unhelpful, and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. Thanks. - Ichiro 07:28, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
If you look at the editing changes at: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=History_of_Vermont&diff=prev&oldid=35122223
You will see that I removed a sentence stating "Vermont is gay."
You apparently determined this was "unhelpful" and put it back in: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=History_of_Vermont&diff=prev&oldid=35372080
And someone else has now taken it out. So much for me patrolling vandalism.

[edit] user/usertalk
hi, I see you just marked a comment I left for a new user for speedy delate as I left it on the user page by accident instead of the talk page. That's a bit harsh, no? Mistakes happen. Have moved it to talk page, and removed it (and sd) from user page) MartinRe 00:24, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, i see. Don't know how that happened. Thought I was leaving note on user page (followed link as normal from article comment). Next time might be better for you to leave a note explaining deletion request (which I now agree with, btw) as my initial thought was user/user talk problem. After all, people can't stop making mistakes unless we're told what they are! MartinRe 00:40, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Christopher Clarke for speedy delete
You wrote that this article was not appropriate for speedy deletion. Is this because of the link later added on the discussion page, or was it wrongly nominated in the first place? Just curious, trying to learn the ropes. Makemi 06:32, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] About RfA
I think there is a common courtesy here on Wikipedia, that when you have a failed RfA, that you should wait a little while before trying again. In almost all instances, the issues raised in a failed RfA are unlikely to have disappeared in less than one month's time. I think we do a disservice to WP to try again so soon. In this specific instance, Aranda left in a huff and didn't think he would be able to effectively use his sysop tools. I haven't seen much that would show he still doesn't think this way, and the short time period just multiplies the problems. Like I said, he's a good editor, but a little too unpredictable, and seemingly impatient. I hope this explains my feelings to a degree. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks, my friend. --LV (Dark Mark) 17:22, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- No, I know you aren't the person running for adminship, but you were the one who asked the question, so I figured you were the one who should get an answer. It might just be a personal preference, but it is the way I feel. Cheers. --LV (Dark Mark) 17:32, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] trotskyism
nonsense, why should the ist and the swp be subjected to criticism from people hostile to it's tradition while other groups do not get criticised? In terms of 'debate' within the trotskyist movement, there are controversies within all groups, not just the swp or the ist. Criticism of the swp on it's position relating to George Galloway and Respect will be better suited to be found within the respective seperate pages for George Galloway, the SWP, IST and RESPECT, not within the Trotskyist page which is supposed to give a broad introduction to Trotskyism, and relating to UK trotskyism information that the SWP is largest Trotskyist group in the UK, further information could be quite easily be found on disagreements within the trotskyist movement.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.158.235.16 (talk • contribs) .
[edit] thanks
Thanks for catching the vandalism on the Jun Choi page. Apparently it was going on while you were reverting - and continued once after you moved on. I'm keeping an eye on that user, too. I think he or she stopped, since the last change was yesterday. Where are you based, in NJ? Bruxism 02:16, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response. I deduced it was vandalism because the IP and the time of entry was the same. Also, it was a negative comment and kind of a pointless one - making a judgment about a mayor's job performance after one month in office is hardly worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. Even had it come from someone else, it would have been of questionable value. By the way, what's an RC? And how do you locate vandalism? So interesting how labor is divided in the whole Wikipedia process. Bruxism 23:02, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Not fair
I do not feel it is fair of you to undo my edittings in such a manner. This is a user friendly site and my changes can be validly made. Frankly looking through other comments you have received I do not stand alone, Ichiro. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.33.80.52 (talk • contribs) .
- I have not seen one positive edit you have made in your contribution history. Your changes have strong POV in them, and you also removed contents without explanation. They are both classified as vandalism. --Ichiro (会話|+|投稿記録|メール) 02:22, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

The young gentleman who has made changes to this page (Barney List) is autistic and is not intentionally vandalizing your page. He actually gains true enjoyment and calm while on the computer. Thank you for your understanding and patience. I am not completely clear on the workings of Wikipedia nor the exact site he is using, but it appeared to be one that he enjoyed typing his Barney titles. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.126.226.61 (talk • contribs) .
