Yadavindra Public School

Yadavindra Public School, is located in Patiala, Punjab India.

One of the most prestigious schooling institutions in India, YPS was established in 1948 under the patronage of the then Maharaja Yadavindra Singh. This school is a member of the prestigious Indian Public Schools' Conference. The School is affiliated to I.C.S.E. and the medium of instruction is English. The only other branch of this school is situatedYadavindra Public School,Mohali. The school offers most extensive and all round development to its students. Apart for its olympic size athletic stadium this co-ed school has swimming pools for junior and senior students, dedicated hockey ground, cricket stadium, horse riding grounds etc. The school owns several well bred horses. The school stadium has been used innumerable on state functions such as Republic/Independence day parade. YPS has given birth to many famous cricket players like Navjot Sidhu, Reetinder Sodhi, Dhruv Pandav(late).
