Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, Chandigarh, is a prestigious institution based in Punjab. This school is a member of the prestigious Indian Public School Conference. This school is based on the lines of Public Schools. The School was established in 1979, much later after the Patiala branch.
The School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination(I.C.S.E.), New Delhi . Indian School Certificate (Class XII) is treated as equivalent to the Senior School Examination of the University of Scotland . This implies that pupils will not be required to obtain “A” level qualifications, or to complete bridging courses, while seeking entry to Universities in the UK and other overseas Universities in the Commonwealth. (Indian School Certification is the only qualification from India that has been granted this special recognition). The school offers both boarding and day-boarding facilities.
