[edit] Yaddle in a movie?

I've seen Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and Yaddle was never in there. Was she in a deleted scene? → JarlaxleArtemis 03:02, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

Yaddle is in Episode 1. She's sitting in the Jedi council chamber off to one side. She doesn't have any speaking parts nor is she ever focused upon during the scene. I have been wondering what happened to Yaddle after Ep 1. She was absent in Ep 2 and 3. Maybe she escaped the Jedi Purge herself? Or maybe Lucas decided to "write her out". Before Ep 1, most fans speculated Yoda was the last of his race, (which was never given an "offical" name). The appearance of another being the same species as "Yoda" suggests there are more of them. She's a silly character, but the subject of many jokes. In my humble opinion, I feel there should be no minor characters page, but rather separate pages for each and a disambiguation page that links to all of them. That will allow people to really go nuts with the information, rather than being restricted to the current format.

I'll tell you what happened to Yaddle between Episode 1 and 2. Yaddle died in the Star Wars novel, The Shadow Trap. Go read the article for yourself, it'll probably explain more stuff. Weirdy 05:24, 25 June 2006 (UTC).

Is this information actually from Lucasfilm, or is it just made up by fans?

Yaddle only very briefly appeared in the scene where Qui-Gonn Jinn adresses the council and only from a distance. There are a number of publicity shots of Yaddle available from a number of sources James Random 11:19, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge?

I disagree that this article should be merged with the Minor Jedi characters in Star Wars article since A) that article is already quite large and B) Yaddle's article isn't just a stub. Dismas 09:42, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Agreed - infact, I think most of the minor Jedi on that page could probably fill up whole articles as large as this one on Yaddle if the same attention to detail was payed to them.
