[edit] Enemies
- Jeric and Isis: Jeric is an Egyptian demon, known for his rituals of mummification. He is able to dematerialize into sand as well as recombine. When practitioners did not have the power to vanquish him, they had mummified him instead. Isis, an evil witch, cast a spell and released him. They fell in love, but she was killed by his enemies. Since then, he was trying to find a replacement body, to host her spirit but the bodies keep dying. The Book of Shadows has a record of his activities ranging from the middle east. What Jeric does is he tries to find is a witch with enough magic for Isis to use and cast a spell to dispossess the body from the hosted spirit(s). Jeric traps Isis' spirit and keeps her from moving on by mummifying the dead body until he can find her a new body.
[edit] Spells
- To Expel a Soul: Together no more through time. Expel her soul, leave only mine.
- To Expel Isis' Soul: Two worn souls now burn inside, where only one can reside. I call upon The Power of Three, to save the body and set Paige free.
- To Make a Mummy: Saqqara Tiet Usheb Ti.
- To Move a Spirit: Khet Mastaba Hotep Ka.
- To De-Mummify: Dromos Wabet Kufu Nemes Akh.
- To See a Past Scry: Scrying secrets come to me. Drop again so I might see.

[edit] Trivia

- Another title used by The WB in advertisements was The Mummy's Tomb.
- Cole and Piper battle each other in this episode, proving to each other that both are invulnerable to harm.
- This is the second time a member of the Highlander series has guest-starred on the series. Actor Adrian Paul, who plays Jeric, was the star of Highlander: The Series; and actress Elizabeth Gracen, who previously played the Vampire Queen in the Charmed episode Bite Me, was the star of the Highlander series Highlander: The Raven.
- Cole says that the Power of Three would be needed to evict a spirit from the body, but he also says that since Phoebe is mummified, by touching her, the power would be accessed. However, when Piper and Paige say the spell, she did not touch any of her sister.
- When Phoebe is mummified, she is on the front table, but when Jeric switches Paige and Phoebe's souls, Phoebe is on the back table.
- Cole confirms in this episode that he has gone insane. When Phoebe asks what happened to him he replies "gone mad" before teleporting out.

- German: Mumienschanz (A play on the German word "Mummenschanz", which means "disguise", and the German word "Mumie" for "mummy".)
