Y?N-Vee (Pronounced: why envy) was an American female R&B group that formed in the early 1990s on the Island Def Jam label. The bands success was short lived; they scored three charting singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, including their biggest hit "Freedom" which featured Aaliyah, BlackGirl, En Vogue, For Real, TLC, Vanessa Williams among others from the Panther soundtrack. Their self-titled debut album Y?N-Vee was released on October 18, 1994, it peaked at No.75 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

In 1996 the group appeared in the film Phat Beach staring Brian Hooks.
