I attend Leeds University (3rd and Final year) in the UK where I am studying Linguistics and Phonetics, and have also studied several modules in Modern History, Sociology and most recently Film Noir. I am a proud Yorkshireman. I mostly make minor edits where I see the need, and participate in talk pages, which I have been doing for quite a while before signing up.

My interests (and so areas I often end up on on Wikipedia) include;

-English, both Language and Literature

-Military History, mainly World War II

-Sci-Fi

-Criminology and True Crime

-Films, many genres

-Computer Games new and old

-Forgotten Realms

-Model Making, painting, creating, etc.

-Heavy Metal

-Yorkshire

Though I follow plenty of links and tend to end up wherever I see mistakes or discrepancies!

I mostly agree with Wiki policies, however I can't stand the amount of ridiculous argments that pop up over stuff like this;

Grass is predominantly green.[citation needed]

The sky is most often blue. [citation needed]

Some things just do not need citation to be verifiable. I also have quibbles with the policy that 'Wikipedia is not about truth, it is about verifiability', as what's the point in verifying a lie? However as long as these remain official policies I try to follow them dispite my personal annoyance.

I like Trivia sections in articles. I find them extremely interesting, entertaining, and often useful. I believe without them, Wikipedia would be used much less than it is presently. That's just another personal quibble.
