Xyience Inc. is a nutritional sports supplement company who has also crossed over into the Energy Drink market. The company manufactures, markets and sells a variety of weight loss, muscle building, and weight gain supplements as well as an energy drink called Xenergy. Xyience has gained most of its national exposure through its major sponsorship of the UFC and UFC fighters, most notably Light Heavy Weight Champion Chuck Liddell.

[edit] History

Xyience Inc. was founded in 2004 and is currently headquartered in Las Vegas, NV. The name Xyience is a portmanteau of the words Xtreme and Science. “Xtreme Science” was the companies original slogan but was updated in 2006 to “Xtreme Science for your active Lifestyle”.

Xyience is a major sponsor for the UFC. Their logo and products can be seen on the mat in the center of the UFC’s Octagon during fights. Because of their sponsorship, Xyience products have the status of “Official Products” of the UFC. In conjunction with the UFC, Xyience also sponsors a number of MMA fighters. These have included many UFC and world title holders such as Chuck Liddell, Rich Franklin, Matt Hughes, Anderson Silva, Tim Sylvia, Sean Sherk, Kit Cope and Cung Le as well as other fighters like Forrest Griffin, BJ Penn, Mike Swick, and Josh Koschek.

Xyience produces NOX-CG3, Xelerate and a number of other nutritional supplements. In May of 2006, Xyience Inc. entered the growing energy drink market with the launch of its energy drink Xenergy. Like the Xyience name, the name Xenergy is a combination of Zen and Energy and is therefore pronounced Zenergy. While the first flavor of Xenergy was Cran|Razz, Xenergy’s available flavors now include Clear and Big Apple.
