[edit] Roman numerals?

Is there some source that gives a reason as to why the conferences are numbered with Roman numerals? This doesn't appear to be a usual practice in global health or counter-AIDS efforts. Thanks. -Fsotrain09 23:37, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Does ANYTHING about HIV and AIDS make sense?? Roman numerals are the least of it! 198.175.175.114 00:53, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
This is an issue related to the article, and how the article is written. Please read the talk header. Thanks. -Fsotrain09 20:59, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Harper Controversy

Keeping in mind that most of the attendees of the AIDS conference will be affiliated with left-wing politics. It deserves to be mentioned that Prime Minister Harper, who is a conservative and does not uphold left-wing politics, has only done what former Prime Minister Chretian, coincidently a left-wing politician, did in the past. Brian Mulroney attended the conference in the past only to be boo'd by the audience, thereby commencing the conference with a bad start. I have only included the fact that Jean Chretian has not attended the previous conference. --142.76.1.62 13:48, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
