XShare
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
XShare is a mobile application for multimedia content sharing.
[edit] Features
XShare enables sharing and access of multimedia content on your mobile phone such as picture, videos and even ringtones. It allows users to have direct camera control/access to upload their pictures in a single-click.
In a single-click you can send your pictures, videos and ringtones to any other mobile phone in the world. This technology is much more reliable than MMS and it also saves you a lot of cost when sending to your friends and family members in other countries.
The best feature about this application is that when you share the same picture/video/ringtone - a 2nd of 3rd time, you are charged only the cost of a text message. And the way its shared is completely seamless and superb.
Users also share their pictures and videos either by publishing them onto photo and video sites like Flickr, YouTube, or Fotki or by sending them directly to their friends' mobile phones. In the latter case, content is transferred seamlessly across operators and countries, overcoming mobile device variability and network interoperability, something which MMS and other current technologies are unpredictable at.
[edit] Supported Websites
XShare enables "multiple-site" upload. At the moment, XShare supports direct uploads to Flickr, Snapfish(HP), Xuqa, 23Hq, Fotki, Pixpulse, Photosite, TextAmerica, Moblog, Smugmug, and CampusJoint.
