Hi, thank you for having rewritten the page about Daniel Vasella. It is no problem if you use the CV to get the information about his life, and then write the article based on this information, but with your own words. We could probably make a good article about him. All the best for your work on Wikipedia. Schutz 22:54, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Colossal Squid

A hearty welcome! I see you are a cephalopod enthusiast. I wanted to tell you you've been doing great work! CS, though, now has too many images clogging up the text. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:09, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DSPG Telecom

Your article DSPG Telecom has appeared in the Dead End Pages list because it is not wikified. Please consult the Wikipedia Guide to Layout for more information on how to write a good, wikified article. I would encourage you to revisit your submissions and {{wikify}} them. Thanks and happy editing! James084 22:07, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photo Copyrights

G'day,

You've uploaded quite a few colossal squid related photographs and marked them as copyrighted but with unrestricted copying. Someone at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Cephalopods#Copyright.3F has questioned if this is true or not, as such could you please provide evidence as to why you believe the photos to be able to reproduced. Thankyou. The bellman 12:30, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

I have commented out the links to the images on the colossal squid article as per futher discussion on wikiproject:cpehalopods. The bellman 23:36, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
I have just deleted the images as there was no source given. If you would like to, please reupload them, but only after providing proof that the copyright holder has released them into the public domain and you can provide a source for the images. - Ta bu shi da yu 07:35, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] page moves and blankings

Hello,

Please don't do page moves that can only cause suspicion (along with blanking of the page in question). I blocked you, but have taken a look at your contribution history and have now unblocked. I'm not sure what your intention was but I'll assume good faith. -- Curps 04:43, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Nepenthes klossii.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Nepenthes klossii.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 19:02, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Argonauta argo shell.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Argonauta argo shell.JPG. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. [edit] Game_Gossip_Community_Forums

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Game_Gossip_Community_Forums, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Game_Gossip_Community_Forums. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Image tagging for Image:Nepenthes_tobaica.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Nepenthes_tobaica.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Nepenthes rajah large pitcher.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Nepenthes rajah large pitcher.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
