XPress Telecom is Jordan's only licenced digital radio trunking operator.

XPress launched its services in June 2004 in the Jordanian market as both a wireless and mobile operator, offering a new form of telecommunications solutions based on the Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (iDEN) technology. XPress is the first Arab company in the Middle East to introduce this technology, which combines the abilities of both ordinary mobile phones with the instantaneous Direct Connect walkie-talkie services.

With a network of more than 600 agents nationwide and coverage of more than 96% of populated areas in the country, XPress is continuously expanding its service accessibility to different parts of the country through modern showrooms nationwide.

XPress offers subscribers a wide array of services starting with its primary Direct Connect service Push-to-Talk, which enables one-to-one and one-to-many immediate, real time communication with a push of the Direct Connect button, similar to “Walkie -Talkie” systems.

XPress subscribers have complete access to regular mobile phone services including national and international calls to all local networks, SMS, and packet data applications.

Other services pioneered by XPress include the Push-To-View feature which enables subscribers to exchange pictures with other XPress users at a push of a button. With the Push-to-Order service, XPress customers can make orders from fast food restaurants, car rentals, water suppliers, supermarkets and much more at a push of a button.

XPress International Push-to-Talk service is ideal for people who wish to control their expenditures by paying a fixed monthly fee for unlimited international PTT calls and contact their friends and family members in Palestine and Saudi Arabia. In the near future, the iPTT service will be active with other countries which have iDEN technology, such as North America, Latin America and Canada.

For the first time in Jordan and the Arab world, XPress launched its unique service, XPress Global Positioning System which aids fleet managers in managing their fleets through positioning the exact location, direction and speed of their employees while they are on the road. This in return helps in improving productivity, efficiency and reducing the cost of fuel by monitoring the fleet routes and picking the least cost routes for the vehicles and by assigning jobs to the closest worker to the nearest task.

In 2006, XPress launched its "XPlore" service which uses the WAP technology to bring to subscribers content that combines the elements of usefulness and entertainment. This service is the first of its type to be available in Jordan in terms of its rich unique content and its subscription mechanism which is a fixed monthly fee for unlimited number of Kilobytes usage.

In an effort to serve the Jordanian Market’s different needs, XPress launched its unique prepaid service that combines both the abilities of normal telephony and Push To Talk, allowing subscribers to monitor their spendings. With XPress prepaid scratch cards, subscribers who have push To Talk only based lines, have the opportunity to make telephony calls by recharging their accounts using these cards.

With its broad range of unique technological offerings and a wide array of value added services, XPress strives to be a leading force in the telecommunication sector in the region.
