[edit] The Used

Thank you very much for your work on the articles about the band The Used. However, please be aware that information cannot be added to Wikipedia articles, unless a source is also provided for that information. Please review the Wikipedia policy of verifiability, and help out by supplying references on each article. And if you have questions, please let us know! --NovaSTL 19:08, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox parameters

Hi, I thought you'd like to know about the correct usage of the {{Infobox Album}} template. The "Type" parameter must be set to one of a set of pre-defined codes. See the link to the template for the full list. This automatically sets the correct colour and heading for the infobox. As you've noticed, there are some occasions where it's not ideal e.g. there is no code for demo albums. However, this information can be included in the "Longtype" field. If you put an invalid code in the infobox, the article is automatically flagged as having an error and someone will correct it soon. Please join Wikiproject Albums if you'd like to discuss the standard use of the template. :) Alex valavanis 01:21, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Used demos thumbnail.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Used demos thumbnail.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:08, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A thank you

Hey, I don't think there's a template to use on this one so I'm just typing like the old school people did. I wanted to give you a thanks for reverting the vandalism that was a The Used tonight. I see you've kind of caught some flak over them in the past but I just wanted to say "Kudos" for getting the vandalism out. JohnCub 02:12, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Xotheusedguyox! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. [edit] The Used Page

hey, just wondering why you've undone my changes on the used page? the artical looks better shortened and with having a seperate page for the full discography, and why remove the bottom nav menu? some of the adjusted order that i did was crap i know, but i feel that just showing the albums and having the rest on a seperate page is alot better. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jacksack (talkcontribs) 21:21, 18 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Edits to The Used-related articles

Hi. I see you've been removing the {{Used, The}} templates from the bottom of many articles to do with The Used. Is there a reason for this? If you don't reply in the next day or so I'm going to go through and put them all back. Mark (Talk) 21:37, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

they didnt need to be on every page just put it on the main page..it gets redicolous to have them everywhere —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xotheusedguyox (talkcontribs).
I see your reasoning, but as you can see by looking at Category:Band_templates, there are thousands of these templates for bands, and they are used on all the band's pages for albums etc. I'm going to revert all your edits that removed this template. Thanks, Mark (Talk) 21:58, 18 March 2007 (UTC).
Thanks for adding them back yourself, much appreciated. Cheers, Mark (Talk) 23:15, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
i updated them a bit too..added the singles and edit some titles it looks fine and informative now —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xotheusedguyox (talkcontribs).
That's great to hear. Thanks for your constructive edits. Cheers, Mark (Talk) 23:27, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Used

I reverted your edit, because it fails WP:BLP -- if you're going to add sentences like "kicked out", you should provide references for it. I'm not saying that the information you added was incorrect, but as per the WP:BLP policy, things like these should be backed up by references. Cheers! 220.227.179.4 17:44, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
