In the fictional Star Fleet Universe as represented in the range of games from Amarillo Design Bureau Inc. as well as the first two Star Fleet Command games (and the Orion Pirates stand-alone addon for Starfleet Command II) from Taldren, the Xorkaelian Empire is a vast interstellar realm which rules a vast portion of the Milky Way Galaxy, on the far side of the galactic core from the United Federation of Planets.

[edit] Location

The Empire encompasses six adjoining Sectors of the Galaxy, from Kappa Sector to Omicron Sector - a region of space twice as massive as the Alpha Octant as shown in the Federation and Empire map. The Xorkaelian homeworld presumably lies within the Mu Sector, at the heart of Imperial space.

[edit] Starships

So far, all that has been revealed by ADB regarding the Empire's starship design philosophy is their reputed use of modular construction for their capital ships.

[edit] History

Scant information on the Empire's history, internal politics or external relations are known at present.
