Xjump
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Xjump is a video game for the PC, where the player is in a falling tower, and has to keep jumping. The floor he is standing on is sinking with the rest of the building; the player will die once the floor gives way (disappears under the bottom of the display). To survive, he has to jump onto the upper floors of the tower. Because the entire tower is sinking, the upper floors will soon collapse too, so the player has to keep on jumping to higher floors.
The score is counted by how many floors the player jump before he either falls off while trying to reach the next floor, or the floor he is standing on collapses.
The game is available for various Unix-like systems under the GNU General Public License.
Xjump has inspired other games such as Icy Tower and GNUjump (formerly SDLjump).
