Xiaolan Zhao
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Xiaolan Zhao is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine who lives and works in Toronto, Canada. Born in Kunming, she was a surgeon in China before coming to Canada on a scholarship to do medical research at Queen’s University. After seeing the great interest that was developing in alternative medicine, she decided to open her own traditional Chinese medicine clinic in Toronto. Since then her practice has grown to over seven thousand patients, the majority of whom are women.
In addition to her focus on women's health, she also specializes in cancer treatments. Though she has not confirmed the identity of any of her patients, some of her more well-known patients (such as Anthony Minghella) have given interviews to the press about their positive experiences of treatment with her.
