XHTO-FM, also known as 104.3 HIT-FM, is a Rhythmic Top 40 outlet serving the El Paso, Texas area. The station, which is owned by Radio Groupo Mexico and whose COL is Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, broadcasts at 104.3 MHz with an ERP of 100 kW.

[edit] History

XHTO was a Spanish contemporary station prior to its flip to a Mainstream Top 40 direction in 2001. However by 2003 they evolved to a Rhythmic Top 40 direction, putting it in direct competition with cross-border rival KPRR. Although both stations offer the same mix of music, XHTO has more of a Dance/Rhythmic Pop lean approach to theirs.

In an unusual oppening, the station played during 76 straight hours the song "Funky Cold Medina"
