Talk:Xenu leaflet

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Can somebody confirm that this material is public domain and does not infringe Scientology copyrights?

According to http://www.xenu.net/archive/leaflet/ , the author of this particular text donated the Copyright irreversibly to the International public domain. Remember that copyright covers only a particular expression of an idea, not the idea itself.

Removed text of leaflet. Long quotes are not encyclopedia articles.

I do not even agree to this having it's own article, but I figured I let it be for a sec so this can be discussed.
The leaflet itself is not an encyclopedia article; it is a criticism aimed at Scientology. As such, it is a primary source for an article about Scientology criticism, but it should not be included in an article about Xenu or Scientology.
The leaflet consists of two parts: an explanation of who Xenu is and a discussion. The explanation was set up in such a way that the author could next criticise Scientology more easily. As such the explanation part does not feel like a good description of Xenu to me. Better to write something ourselves.
As for 62.98.136.xxx: I don't know why you comment your vandalisms with VR, but it is not funny. Either be serious in contributing to Wikipedia or go away.--branko
