XC-01

This article is about the fictional Transport Aircraft from XC-01 Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception.

It appears in mission 10A and 10B, which takes place over Monte Breeze. The XC-01 is a transport aircraft used to deliver the M.B.S.R. to the former Aurelian Capital of Griswall. The M.S.B.R. is intended for to enhance the Meson Cannon powered by the Gaiuss tower in the middle of the city. The tranport it self has a miniature version of the M.S.B.R. to defend itself, resembling that of a tail gunner.

The XC-01's carrying the M.S.B.R.'s for Griswall were all shot down by Gryphus squadron over Monte Breeze, but if the player chooses to leave the XC-01's alone and head straight to Griswall the XC-01's will continue to go to Griswall and upgrade all of the remaning four Meson Cannons with the M.S.B.R., increasing it's firepower, it is unknown however what happened to these XC-01's and where they went. It is possible that a XC-01 was transporting Leasath Commander Diego Casper Navaro to the Sentry Islands due to the fact that a transport looking like a C-5 is present but because of the resemblence it is hard to tell the diffenrence between the two.
