XB-0 Hresvelgr (IPA: [ɹeɪsvɛlɡ]) is a fictional aircraft in the Playstation 2 game Ace Combat Zero by Namco.
[edit] Development and operational history
The massive XB-0 Hresvelgr aircraft is the second super weapon originating in Belka, the first being the Excalibur, a system of chemical lasers designed to shoot down planes. Developed by the South Belkan Gründer Industries, this gargantuan flying fortress is actually a prototype with no mass production as of 1995. With six engines, each with an output of 1350.2 kN, it is designed to act as a staging area and aerial aircraft carrier for air and land dominance operations, and, because of its size, can act as a large-volume transport and bomber. Despite its cost to maintain, the terrorist organization, "A World with No Boundaries", has seen fit to utilize the Hresvelgr. Protected by Espada squadron of "A World with No Boundaries", it raided several Allied targets, including the Valais Air Base and the Belkan city of Lumen, after the Belkan War before it was shot down by the mercenary Galm team near Stier Castle in Belka.
