[edit] Message from Ed Nilges re your edit

Spinoza1111 04:47, 19 November 2005 (UTC)I respect your right to excise my additions to figure drawing. However, I think you "threw the baby out with the bathwater". I request that we discuss your decision and I have placed my initial response at the Discussion page of Figure Drawing.

After my response, and after I saw your User page, I reflected that my art school training, dating as it did from 1965, might indeed today be nonstandard and that you crazy mixed up kids may copy from photos successfully. I do know, however, that my teachers all stressed the need to think in three dimensions.

Perhaps in dis modern era we got going everything has been flattened, and people don't get the kick I got last October when during a visit to Paris I spent every day drawing figures in the sculpture galleries of the Louvre.

Or something.

I request you and I discuss this issue.
