Xarquid
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Xarquids are a fictional race from the X-Com universe, probably the rarest alien one may (or may not) encounter. Found almost entirely in the company of Gill Men, very rarely on Ship Raiding missions, along with an appearance in the very final battle at T'Leth.
The Xarquid is fast, but not too well armoured - it takes more-or-less normal damage from everything except Armour Piercing rounds which have a 20% bonus. It is armed with a Particle Cannon hidden amongst its tentacles which is amazingly accurate, and an ink cloud it can use to hide from threats.
They have a high resistance to Molecular Control, but make formidable allies if turned.
