Xai-Xai

Xai-Xai (pre-1975: João Belo) is a city in the south of Mozambique. It is the capital of Gaza Province and has a population of 103,251 (1997 census).
Xai-Xai is located close to the Indian Ocean, on the Limpopo River. It lies on the EN1 road northeast of Maputo and is known for its beach at Praia do Xai-Xai.
